Thematic Workshop 2 – Alcohol and its relation to Cancer, Socioeconomic inequalities, and Nutrition & Obesity
The second DEEP SEAS Thematic Workshop, ‘Alcohol and its relation to Cancer, Socioeconomic inequalities, and Nutrition & Obesity‘, co-hosted by the General Directorate for Intervention on Addictive Behaviours and Dependencies (SICAD), of the Portuguese Ministry of Health, took place through online series of 3 workshop sessions, with the overall aim of exchanging effective policy options to reduce alcohol-related harm:
- Tuesday 9th March 2021 – Alcohol and Cancer (and links with obesity and inequalities)
- Friday 12th March – Socioeconomic inequalities in health related to alcohol use
- Tuesday 16th March – Alcohol, nutritional impact, obesity and related issues
